BARC

Motorsport club

The British Automobile Racing Club is one of the UK’s biggest, most highly regarded motorsport organisations with a history spanning over 100 years. BARC is responsible for organising more than 35 championships and upwards of 60 race meetings each year and has a global reputation for event organisation and promotion.

Based at Thruxton, BARC also operates the race tracks at Croft and Pembrey as well as the Gurston Down and Harewood Hill hillclimb venues. It owns TOCA, the company that runs the British Touring Car Championship, and is proud to have been involved in every motorsport event held at Goodwood House and Motor Circuit since the first Festival of Speed in 1993. Recent improvements to venues, including a Skid Pan and Hospitality Centre at Thruxton, have ensured the BARC remains at the very pinnacle of the sport.
