The US Grand Prix was my favourite race weekend since we entered the world of Covid-F1 18 months back. Austin is a fantastic city, but this season the fans had truly gone F1 crazy. Everywhere we walked people stopped us to say how much they’ve enjoyed watching this season’s coverage. How different from two years back when they’d say ‘You guys in town for the race?’

A capacity crowd of 140,000 on race day plus a host of A-list celebrities such as Serena Williams, Shaquille O’Neal, Karlie Kloss, Chris Bosh, Rory McIlroy and the curiously named Megan Thee Stallion made the atmosphere special. Finally, it seems that Formula 1 has cracked America.
