How I designed the DB7

It will perhaps come as no surprise that the one car that still holds a special place in my heart is the DB7. The car that saved Aston Martin.

It was 9:00pm. I was working in the TWR Design studio with my good friend and brilliant clay modeller, Andrew Miles. I was struggling to resolve the rear haunch of what was then known as Project XX. He could see my angst, so handed me a large gin and tonic. His way to get me to relax and to think more clearly!
