I put finger to keyboard rather tentatively here, as I’m aware this might appear to be a counterpoint to Andrew English’s ‘What I hate about modern cars’ piece.
But read on because it’s not, partly because I agree wholeheartedly with most of Andrew’s bêtes noires, but mainly because our relationship with cars and the industry that produces them is often a bit ambivalent, a touch love-hate. So, here’s my love letter to some of the less annoying aspects of the cars produced by the industry today.
